"Il Filo" publishing was born in 2002 in order to develop the emerging literature and to promote cultural events all over Italy. It has its headquarters in Rome and Viterbo.
Several important cultural characters had been cooperating with it, as Alberto Bevilacqua, Andrea De Carlo, Luciano De Crescenzo, Dario Fo, Giorgio Forattini, Maurizio Maggiani, Mario Monicelli, Luciano Rispoli, Edoardo Sanguineti, Mario Rigoni Stern, Alda Merini...
Together with its publishing activity, "Il Filo" also looks after a radio programme (called "La luna e i falò") and a monthly publication about books and authors.
